David Banavidez says he will not reject a fight against Artur Bererbiev next if it is offered to him after his title defense of his WBC lightweight belt against Anthony Yarde on November 22.
The former 175-pound undisputed champion of Betterbiev (21-1, 20 COs) is fighting against Deon Nicholson at the Benavidez-Yery undercard in the Anb Arena in Riyadh. With the two Power Punchers fighting on the same map, it is the ideal intent to achieve interest in a battle between ‘the Mexican Monster’ Benavidez and Artur Betterbiev to happen next.
Benavidez accepts Artur Betterbiev Challenge
Betterbiev wanted to fight a trilogy match against Dmitri Bivol next, but the match did not happen after Biblical decision not to continue negotiations. Fortunately for Artur, he has the possible option to challenge Benavidez for his WBC title as Turki Alalshikh to make the fight happen if both fighters win their preliminary competitions at the 22nd event on Dazn PPV.

The right tough fight for Benavidez is against Betterbiev because he has the power, a pungent ability and an uninterrupted attack style to give him problems.
“First of all, I’m going to take care of this battle, and I’m going to look good in this battle,” Benavidez said of his collision against Anthony Yarde. “If they offer my Artur Betterbiev, then that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to take every opportunity I can get.
“To prove your grandeur, the bigger fighters have to take more difficult battles to prove themselves. I will be 29 next year. I have confidence in myself and my abilities. If that’s what it’s going to be, I’m 100% ready for it,” Benavidez said of a fight against Artur Bingerbiev.
“The money won’t be so good, but once I beat Artur Betbiev, there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that I’m the best 175-pound,” says Benavidez. “The only fighter I face is BISHLET, and I would go there and beat BISHELL as well. That’s all I asked for. ‘
