Daniel Levy was able to plunder the figure of Tottenham after the January disaster

Tottenham Hotspur struggles this season have not been limited to field performances, as worries about club management decisions are still growing.

They suffered a 1-0 defeat against AZ in the Europa League First Lega on Thursday in what was one of their worst performances this season. The European competition is its last hope on a platform this season after being eliminated from the FA CUP, as well as the League Cup, while they are 13th in the Premier League.

Ange has not been easy, and injuries are one of the reasons for its failed campaign. The Australian has been without several of its main players in the first team for most of the season. In particular, the club had a bad situation in attack with the tastes of Solanke, Richarlison, Timo Werner, Odobert and Brennan Johnson at the Together.

They had also faced a similar problem in defense with the tastes of Cristian Romero, Micky van de ven, well Davies and Radu Dragusin, injured.

This left the club with a desperate need for reinforcements in January, but the club did not have the best of the transfer windows, as they struggled to sign their key goals.

Daniel Levy is not happy with Johan Lange’s performance

President Daniel Levy is evaluating the future of sports director Johan Lange, following widespread dissatisfaction with the manipulation of spurs in the January transfer window.

The Club’s inability to achieve crucial reinforcements during a period of assembly injuries left many frustrated supporters, increasing the pressure on Lange.

The winter window was seen as a fundamental time for Tottenham to strengthen its squad, although the club did not address key areas, raising doubts about Lange’s effectiveness in its role.

According to Club John Wenham, Lange, inside the club, has been significantly weakened, with his credibility decreasing after a disappointing transfer window.

Wenham noted that Levy and Manager Ange Postecoglou had to intervene to promote an agreement for Mathys Tel after Lange’s initial failure to ensure signature, an event that may have damaged his reputation out of repair.

Speaking Tottenham NewsWenham said:

“This season has been an absolute disaster.

“Therefore, I would not say that it is without the possibility that Lange could be relieved of his duties very quickly at the end of the season. Its credibility is quite low at this time.

“Daniel Levy and Postecoglou had to get involved to reach an agreement for Tel after Lange originally failed. It’s embarrassing. As a result, I would not be surprised that people who have participated in recent failures, except for the property, are eliminated at the end of the season and includes Lange.”

The Tottenham performance in the January transfer window

Tottenham completed three signings in January. The Czech goalkeeper, Antonín Kinský, arrived from Slavia Prague for £ 12.5 million to provide depth to the goal department in the middle of injuries to Goughlmo Vicario and Fraser Forster.

The Austrian Center Kevin Danso was incorporated on a RC Lens loan with the option of buying for 25 million euros, strengthening the defense. In the meantime, French striker Mathys Tel was signed on loan from Bayern Munich with a purchase clause of 55 million euros, strengthening Spurs attack options.

However, these additions were not enough to flip the Tottenham season. With the club sitting in the lower half of the Premier League table and fighting in the Europa League, important changes are expected this summer.

If Levy decides to shake things, Spurs could separate from Lange and bring a new sports director to oversee the reconstruction of the squad and help direct the club again.
