Dean Henderson is quickly becoming a favorite of Crystal Palace fans, not only for his performances on the pitch, but also because of his generosity on Earth.
After playing a leading role of the FA CUP last season on Manchester City, a historic moment that handed over the first important trophy of the Palace – Henderson was again the hero of the community’s trip against Liverpool.
In the face of a multitude of drops of the Wembley Stadium, the International Goalkeeper of England made crucial savings during the shooting, denying both Alexis Mac Allister and Harvey Elliott. Its heroics helped Oliver Glasner get the trophy and start the new season in style.
But Henderson’s goodwill did not stop here.
After the game, he made a surprise visit to a local pub where he was considered for selfies with the fans. In a generous gesture, according to a £ 1,000 card, inviting the palace supporters to enjoy a few drinks on it.
“Legend. Totally has this club. Greetings,” a fan wrote on Instagram along with a selfie with the goalkeeper.

A fan, however, pushed himself away with something even more valuable than some drinks and a selfie.
After the penalty shooting victory, Henderson accidentally left his water bottle for the goalkeepers. Surrounded around it, there was a trap sheet that detailed the Liverpool penalty trends, including the way Mac Allister and Elliott would go with their efforts saved.
This bottle was found in the hands of a supporter, giving them a certified piece of Crystal Palace -and Wembley -.
