Eddie Hearn says Terence Crawford is going to want “A lot of money” To fight Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis because he knows what kind of threat of Ennis poses to him. He mentions that Crawford (42-0, 31 COs) will not fight against Ennis unless he paid a massive wallet.

Hearn sounds the money alarm
“It’s a battle for the ages,” said Eddie Hearn, boss of the match room Fight Hub TV About Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis against Terence Crawford. ‘Crawford is only going to fight’ boots’ if there is a lot of money on the line because he knows how good Ennis is. He is not going to fight anymore unless it’s a lot of money ::
I don’t know that Crawford boots are a ‘battle for the ages’. Hearns go a little overboard with the kind of talk. It’s a good fight, and it would be nice to see what the young Ennis could do against 38-year-old Crawford and knocked him off his high horse.
A more fun battle would be to see how “boots” do against some of the super -middleweights, such as Christian Mbilli, Lester Martinez and Osleys Iglesias.
Those fighters throw a lot more than Crawford, and they stand in the bag to fight. You won’t see them run around the ring like Crawford does against Canelo. Fans will get their money worth if one of them fights against Ennis.
“His biggest challenge is Crawford. He has earned the right to ask for ten millions of dollars, and you can only give him the kind of money in super fights. Cawford knows how good Ennis is. Why would you fight against Ennis? ‘ said Hearn.
Crawford protects his legacy?
Crawford is likely to be protective now with his matchmaking now that he has become a certain extent popular of his fight against Canelo Alvarez. What this means is that he will not take a risky fight against Ennis unless Turki Alalshikh pays him a John D. Rockefeller-Leal Fortune to fight against him, possibly in the $ 100 million series.
Just a fortune makes it happen
It will depend on how worried he is about ‘boots’ and whether he is concerned about his precious legacy injured by a loss. He may also have an idea in his head that he took his place as “the face of boxing”. If the victory has given Crawford failures of grandeur, he will expect $ 100 million+, and if it is not given to him, he will not fight.
“You tell me what battle there is that Crawford will pay the money he wants?” said Hearn.
For Crawford to agree to a fight against ‘Boots’ Ennis, he may want to bump a bump of the payment of the $ 50 million smackers He fought against the faded Canelo Alvarez on September 13. ‘Ennis is a very different animal than the flat-footed 35-year-old Canelo. He can do everything Crawford can do, but he has better offensive skills.
‘Boots’ does not rely on keeping the round out by moving or waiting to counteract his opponents as Crawford does. He actually starts by being the aggressor, pushing and throwing attacks. Therefore, he surpasses Crawford popular. This is the same reason why Errol Spence was more popular than Crawford. He had a fan-friendly style that made him a Crossover star in the US, just like in the past like Oscar de la Hoya.
The reality is that the only two battles out there that Crawford will pay a fortune are these two:
- Canelo Alvarez (Rematch): It depends on whether Turki Alalashikh is interested in financeing a second battle. This is not a good sign that he inquired about whether David Banavidez can still make 168. This indicates that his interest in Benavidez is fighting against Crawford, not Canelo.
- Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis: This is easily the best option for Crawford if his focus gets another monstrous big payday before retiring to his mansion in Omaha, Nebraska. I would say Benavidez is the biggest money fight for Terence, but he has said no to a fight against ‘the Mexican monster’.
It seems bad that Crawford refuses the battle because he talked about being posted Mount Rushmore or Boxing. To avoid benavidez is a signal that Crawford was not cut from the same cloth as the big ones on that mountain.
He is not the risk maker of Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis or Sugar Ray Leonard. You can add a lot of others who do not compile Crawford in the courage section among the greats of all time.
If you think about how those big ones were willing to risk their hides to fight the best, your Crawford refuses to fight Benavidez, showing that he is not one of them.
