Coach Abel Sanchez says Terence Crawford should knock Canelo Alvarez out to win. He doesn’t see that happening, because Canelo’s punching resistance will be too good. Sanchez notes that Canelo (62-2-2, 39 COs) fought bigger guys with power and dominated them.
Crawford comes in this battle with no experience at Super Middeeight, which he could have done something about. Terence’s fans say he chose not to move to 168 because he wanted to focus on the generosity.
Physical concerns

Foster is a former lightweight champion who moved to heavyweight in the early 1970s and was knocked out by Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. What Sanchez does not mention is that Crawford will really have to dominate to win a decision because he will be beaten hard by Canelo. The judges will record it for Canelo, even if he is surpassed by Crawford’s weaker shots. They focus on which of the two lands harder, cleaner shots, and it’s going to be Canelo. For Crawford to win, he will have to stay in the bag and keep Canelo out of the punch.
Abel’s Canelo theory

It looked more like Canelo got tired after the first four or five rounds in his last three fights, and not a situation where he was ‘sparring’. In his fight against William Scull, he beat the Cuban with some quick counterparts and seemed to decide that he didn’t want to take chances. Canelo also looked tired and unable to fight faster needed to strike him.
