2024 edition Caribbean Premier League (CPL)hosted by Cricket West Indies (CWI), this will mark the 12th installment of the inaugural T20 competition. The tournament, which will run from August 29 to October 6, will feature six teams battling it out for close to six weeks of intense cricket action. Antigua will host CPL matches for the first time in a decade, joining other popular venues in Barbados, Guyana, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago. The grand final will take place at the National Stadium in Providence, Guyana.
Introducing the Falcons of Antigua and Barbuda
This year presents Falcons of Antigua and Barbudathe new franchise that replaces it Tallawahs of Jamaicathey were canceled last year due to financial constraints. Antigua was previously represented in the CPL Antigua Hawksbillswho participated in the first two seasons before being replaced by Patriots of St. Kitts and Nevis In 2015. The return of a team from Antigua adds a new dynamic to the league.

The team has assembled a huge squad that includes international stars like Pakistan. Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim and Fakhar Zaman. They are joined by Australia’s off spinner Chris Green and Afghanistan comprehensively Azmatullah Omarzaiadds depth and versatility to the team.
Along with these international heavyweights, the Falcons secured the services of the West Indies.
