The final game of the World Series begins on Friday when the New York Yankees face the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 12th time in the Fall Classic and first since 1981.
There’s not much time left to get your predictions in before the games begin, and two-time Cy Young winner Corey Kluber recently joined the party to share his World Series prediction ahead of Game 1.
Speaking to MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM, Kluber predicted the Yankees would win seven games and added that the Yankees “looking more at the hands of the Dodgers bullpen down the stretch could make a difference.”

That’s only fair considering how much the Dodgers have relied on their bullpen so far in the postseason, regularly fielding complete bullpen games and pulling starters Walker Buehler and Yoshinobu Yamamoto in their respective starts.
That’s not usually a viable long-term strategy, but it’s worked well so far and should only stick around a little longer, though it wouldn’t hurt if the Dodgers could stretch their starters a bit longer in this series. .
The Yankees have no shortage of starting pitching and will feature Gerrit Cole in Game 1, Carlos Rodon in Game 2, Clark Schmidt in Game 3, and have plenty of viable options for Game 4.
Baseball fans couldn’t ask for a bigger matchup with two $300+ million payrolls from the two biggest markets going down in the Fall Classic for the first time in 40 years with MVP winners all over the place.
