Turki Alalshikh is cooked by fans on X tonight after he said he will ‘Be very upset ‘If Hamzah Sheeraz and Shakur Stevenson lose their fights on his 12th card in Queens, New York. Fans roast Turki and say he should be neutral and not biased for his event Dazn ppv at Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Turki’s “disaster” plan
Turki says if the WBC lightweight champion Shakur and Sheeraz lose it would “Be a complete disaster.” He has ‘big plans’ for the two fighters. He has already said that Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 CO’s) is one of the two fighters he would consider fighting Canelo Alvarez next February.
Fans are now concerned that they will see two controversial decisions that Shakur and Hamzah prefer. Both are flawed and have the best opponents of their careers.
Sheeraz fights against the big puncher, Edgar Berlangain the main meeting of a super -middleweight match. Many fans choose Berlanga to strike Sheeraz. He has already shown signs that he was Chinny when he fought against Austin Williams last year. Sheeraz clearly earned a loss in his last fight against WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames last February.
Shakur (23-0, 11 COs) defend against the unbeaten WBC-TUs-Time Champion William Zepeda. There is great doubt that Stevenson can win without running all night, making it a ‘Tom and Jerry’ type battle that Turki said he didn’t want to see on his occasions again. Stevenson is too weak and fragile to stand and fight against Zepeda as Tevin Farmer did twice.
Zepeda, Berlanga for sports
It will be good for the sport if Zepeda and Berlanga win, because there is more a possibility to build them in stars in the American Shakur and Hamzah will never be stars because they have many things against them. Shakur is considered a boring runner without power and hand problems. Sheeraz has a poor chin and looks too much in his only pro-fight against a world-class opponent, Carlos Adames.
I would be very upset if Berlanga and Zepeda Sheeraz and Shakur knock out. We have big plans for Sheeraz and Shakur, and this result would be a complete disaster …!
