This year, to celebrate The Players Championship, Under Armor is taking you and your friends on a golf trip with a limited-edition apparel capsule designed to help you celebrate one of life’s greatest joys.
The collection features a host of whimsical patterns and prints that speak to the various aspects of going on a golf trip with your best friends. There are airplane prints, shiny and precious board shorts and a great polo with graphics symbolizing various PGA Tour stops.
Can you spot them all? There are citrus fruits, volcanoes, cacti and even gators.
And I love it madly.
Under Armor Golf has truly made a paradigm shift over the last 2-3 years. They are very much geared towards being more in touch with the new generation of golfers, those (like me) who want a small, well thought out narrative and unique design.
And there are few, if any, brands that do it either.
Where others may stick to the status quo, Under Armor is branching out and doing things its own way. The Golf Trip, like some of the limited edition capsules that have come before it, isn’t simply a representation of where Under Armor is as a brand.
But on the contrary, where are they going?
