England stars Cole Palmer and Kobbie Mainoo will swap the pitch for the stage this month when they co-host GQ’s Men of the Year event.
The Chelsea starboy i Manchester United Talent will join forces at the star-studded London event celebrating some of the finest actors, athletes and musicians shaping the cultural landscape. Along with Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and rapper Central Cee, Palmer and Mainoo will co-host the evening and wow on the red carpet.
An event that honors rule-breakers and game-changers is fitting for both Palmer and Mainoo, who have made their own journey into the wider world outside of football.
The Blues goalscorer had not been afraid to embrace his passion for fashion, starring Burberry outerwear campaign which was announced in October. Palmer also earned a spot 90 minutes list of the most influential footballers after helping to bridge the gap between sport and culture.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils star put pen to paper on a deal with Nike earlier this year before appearing in Dazed’s Summer 2024 issue, styling a full range of products from the sportswear giants .
Each will take a microphone and headline the proceedings at this year’s GQ event on November 19, with an exclusive interview with each player coming out ahead of the night.
Honorees on the night include stars from across the worlds of sport, music and film, with Team GB’s Adam Peaty, actor Kit Harrington and comedian Richard Gadd among those to be celebrated.
