1. Big battles in elite men’s and elite women’s races at the 2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

2. Connor Mantz set the American marathon record with his 2:04:43 victory, beating Khalid Khanushi’s 23-year-old AR of 2:05:38.

3. Natosha Rogers ran a second marathon PB as she finished in a top US position (6th) in 2:23.38, following her PB at the Nagoya Marathon last February.

3. Connor Mantz broke the 23-year-old American record held by Khalid Khannoushi since 2002 of 2:05:38, then a world record. Khalid won in Chicago in 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2002.
