3. In 1991, Steve Miller, then NIKE’s director of sports marketing, organized a meeting of the minds that brought together many cultural figures.
4. For the sport to grow, a “Meeting of the Minds 2” needs to take place, involving the various regions, World Athletics, European Athletics, athlete managers, meet managers, USATF and the media.
