Cobra Golf
No matter how many technological advances an equipment manufacturer can cram into its offerings, none of that good stuff matters if the clubs don’t fit the golfer.
This is the main philosophy behind Cobra Golf’s latest innovations: the all-new DS-ADAPT metal woods and irons. The clubs not only incorporate the most advanced technology, but also bring a new emphasis on precision tuning that is even more powerful and easier than ever to fit.
At the heart of the new DS-ADAPT family are four new driving models: DS-ADAPT LS, DS-ADAPT X, DS-ADAPT MAX-KAND DS-ADAPT MAX-D. Each model features Cobra’s innovative FUTUREFIT33 adjustable shaft system, offering 33 unique loft and lie settings that can now be adjusted independently for the first time in a Cobra driver, offering players a huge range of fit options in flight.
The mounting technology is “a real breakthrough in metalwood mounting,” said Jose Miraflor, vice president of product architecture and consumer relations at Cobra Puma Golf. “Never before has a funnel system offered 33 unique loft and lie settings that can be adjusted so quickly and easily.” Miraflor said the range of settings is more than four times what Cobra’s previous tube system offered and more than double the settings offered by Cobra’s closest competitor.
Not only does the new Cobra grip allow for more adjustable settings than ever before, but it also allows for loft, lie and face angle to be adjusted independently thanks to SMARTPAD technology, which keeps the face square.
While 33 options may seem intimidating to players, the company has provided a chart to show the flight from each setting. Once the player is set to the correct head and shaft combination, but still sees a shot going in a certain direction (up and right, for example), they will go to the set at the opposite end of the matrix (F2 is low and left, in this case) and work around that square to find the best fit.
The chart can be quickly accessed by scanning a QR code printed on the hosel.
The new drivers also include refined aerodynamics, adaptive weighting that is based on Cobra’s PWR-BRIDGE technology and HOT Face for greater face deflection and greater distance, even on off-center hits.
of DS-ADAPT the family will be available for assembly and pre-sale on December 12, with retail and online availability starting January 10, 2025.
Here is an overview of each of the four DS-ADAPT models.

DS-ADAPT LS
Designed for golfers with faster swing speeds, the LS model reduces club spin while providing greater versatility in shaping the shot. According to Cobra, the LS features the most advanced aerodynamics in the line, thanks to the raised rear, higher crown tip and new aerodynamic heel shape. It also boasts the most compact address profile of the four models (445cc), along with three adjustable weight ports for adjusting any type of shot shape.
