Cobalti adds attractive features to Rangefinder Laser Q-6SM

Cobalt has released a new version of their Laser Q-6, Q-6SM Lasefinder. If you are unknown with Cobalt Rangefinders, I have written A comprehensive summary of the Q-6 cobalt laser rank last year.

If you have lost that summary because you have had a doctor’s appointment or the task of the jury, simply click on that relationship above and you will have a complete compilation of the Q-6 cobalt.

If you are clicking about their right these days, I will give you a quick summary before telling you what is new with Q-6SM.

Key Elements: Cobalt Q-6 Laser Rangefinder

During my previous test, I discovered the main features of the Q-6 cobalt laser range.

First of all, it’s fast. It collects targets quickly with touching a single button. The spacious reaction when blocked in targets allows you to know that the range of range is correct. When the pins have integrated reflectors, the target time is almost immediate.

Her contours fit my hand, placing my fingers in the right orientation for targeted fire. This speeds up the overall time to get your yard as you will not be in love with the laser when you catch it.

The Q-6 cobalt is correct. Not once gave me a number that was suddenly long or short. Did we measure the tree from time to time and then closed to the top? Of course.

All lasers do it. What the Q-6 never did was to tell me my 150-overee was 170.

Finally, the Q-6 cobalt has proven to be quite stable. My brother has used it exclusively since last fall and he has not yet broken it.

He is one of those boys who shoots a yard and then throws the laser to the ground to hit his shot. What barbaric. At least he uses the issue most of the time.

After all is that the laser works as well as it did the first day and in addition to some small body scratches, it still looks great.

Then what changed the cobalt by moving from Q-6 to Q-6sm?

Water, fire, air, dirt

Those of you who wear the clown composition and Quff a delicious Faygo soda on a hot summer day have already realized what cobalti added to the Q-6SM.

Magnets f*cking, how do they work?

The “only” thing that did the cobalt this time was to add a magnet to the body of the rank. For technophils, it is a neodymium magnet with rating N48.

(For luddites, this is a strong thing that sticks to the metal.)

The addition of a magnet seems like a slight change. It is small but it is significant.

Those who play in riding carriages know the addition of a magnet dramatically improves the ease of using laser and play.

Mountain golf with the q-6sm cobalt attached to the cart

A few weeks ago, I played Grizzly Ranch GC in Portola, Ca for the first time. I used the Q-6SM cobalt almost exclusively to determine the distance.

For most rounds in popular courses, I tend to use my simple Bushnell Phantom GPS for yards.

However, when playing a course for the first time, I prefer to use a laser range. With the laser, I can quickly hit the pin, all the intermediate risks and objectives as well.

Adding a magnet to the Q-6SM cobalt body made it a breeze to be used in a wheelchair. Heal it in the metal roof bar and will be easily accessible when needed.

The magnet is strong enough to stay attached during occasional ventures in treacherous terrains and a full -speed rank up to 18 to avoid a sudden storm.

(PRO Tip: Remember that the laser is glued to the cart when spraying back on your car in the parking lot.)

Magnet is more important for knights

If you are a golf player, adding a magnet to the Q-6SM cobalt may not attract you. Since the carpenter bags lack metal attachment points, the back bag players will use the clip in the case of laser to attach their bags.

If you push your clubs, a magnet may not be needed even after you have keyboards and nets to hold the laser. Most metals in your pushing cart are likely not to be magnetic anyway.

If you travel, you want a laser with a magnet. The end of the discussion. you need A magnet in your laser.

Set up your new magnetic laser immediately next to your Bluetooth magnetic speaker AND magnetic cigarette.

In your cart, you are magnetic, the master of magnetism!

Cobalt is a new company and I understand hesitation to send them $ 450 for a laser.

There are two things that impress me about cobalt that can reduce the buyer’s reluctance. First, all their products have life repair or replace guarantees. They also have some of the environmentally friendly packages I have encountered. In a plastic world, the cobalt packs on paper and I dig it.

One last thing for those of you interested in buying a Q-6SM cobalt or another model of cobalt laser rank: buy the package. For about $ 40 more than the laser price, you get a towel, Yeti water bottle and a dozen vice pro or pro plus golf balls.

Saying this, the Q-6SM package is not yet available, surely because these just started. Hopefully, this option will be available soon.
