Chelsea has reimagined some of the club’s most iconic clothing in a new limited edition clothing line entitled “Reimaginated icons. “”
The collection presents six unique elements, each of which represents a key chapter in Chelsea’s story. Six talented London designers have taken these classic pieces and transformed them: not to repeat the past, but to reinterpret them and modernize them for current fans.
The line opens with the Royal Blue Crew of 1906, a camouflage style sweater inspired by the first years when Chelsea first adopted its real blue signature. This is followed by Ted Drake Bomber, a contemporary Blazer prey carried by players under the manager Ted Drake in the 1950’s.
The vibrant jacket on the Renaissance track pays tribute to the success of the Italian “Renaissance” of Chelsea in the 1990’s.
Also included is the Gianluca Pullover, an elegant black clothing that reimbounds the iconic jersey carried by the Manager Gianluca Vialli during the memorable victory of the Cup 2000 from Chelsea to Wembley. The Kings of Europe Jersey brings new energy to the daring black shirt that was carried under Roberto di Matteo when Chelsea lifted his first Trophy in the Champions League in 2012.
Finally, the collection presents the Champions League ‘Rings, a modern performance of the rings presented by Emma Hayes to his players at the end of his legendary female coach of Chelsea.
This limited edition collection is now available online and at Stamford Bridge Megastore. With only a small number produced, it offers Chelsea’s real enthusiasts a rare opportunity to have a piece of the club’s rich heritage, reimagininated for modern times.
