Between 1994 and 1996, the Mexican Giants Club America carried one of the most Dear football shirts of all time.
The yellow Adidas sweater, with its red, blue and black diamond pattern through the chest, the centralized ridge and the iconic sponsor of Coca-Cola-is recorded in the history of football kit and still appreciated by fans and collectors.
Now, this legendary look can be a comeback.
Filtered photos of Holder He suggests that the next Casa 2025/26 Club of the Club América will give a direct tribute to this defining design of the time.
Similar to the original, the filtered kit has a bright yellow base, with red, blue and black squares that extend just below the ridge and to the Caliente sponsor. The ridge is centered, a look at the original disposition.
The new version exchanging Adidas’s modern touches, including black rounded neck details and the three stripes mark on the shoulders. Unlike the mid-90’s V-CECK classic, this updated version maintains the contemporary silhouette while also clearly echoing its roots.

Although it is not an individualized replica, the resemblance is unmistakable. And with Adidas who returned as a kit supplier of Club América for the first time since 2000, the design of the launch feels like a deliberate bridge between the past and the present.
It’s retro, but it’s new. If confirmed, this reimaginated kit will not only like América’s supporters, which could happen as a modern instant classic.
