Free agent quarterback Juan Soto is taking meetings and letting the offers roll in.
Almost every MLB team with deep pockets is currently turning over couch cushions to collect every dime they have to throw at Soto to secure his services for the next decade and beyond.
After several weeks of deliberation, Soto may be nearing a decision, and Chris Russo is aware of where he could go.
On Wednesday morning’s episode of First Take, Stephen A. Smith and Chris Russo debated who would sign Soto.
“He’s not going to Toronto, he’s not going to Los Angeles, and he’s not going to the (Philadelphia) Phillies, so that leaves you with three teams. I don’t have any inside information. I think he might sign ( Boston) with the Red Sox. I had a funny feeling,” Russo shared.

Smith applauded and told Russo not to cheat.
He believes the only way Soto should leave the Yankees is for the Dodgers.
The New York Yankees, New York Mets, Red Sox, Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays are believed to be the top five candidates for his services, but the Red Sox are quietly turning up the heat and are willing to spend in a few years. disappointing their fan base by standing up.
The organization is reportedly working to convince Soto to be part of this promising core, with the help of legends like David Ortiz and Dustin Pedroia, who are also recruiting him.
Soto’s sweepstakes is almost over, and once that domino falls, the rest of the season can begin.
