Chris Eubank Jr. Eyes Canelo – Crawford winner after Benn Rematch

Chris Eubank Jr. doesn’t just think of Conor Benn. Brighton’s middleweight has his eyes on the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford match on September 14 in Las Vegas, where the pound-by-pound king jumps to challenge for the undisputed super-middleweight crown.

Eubank made it clear that he wanted the winner. But first he goes back to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on November 15 for a re -broadcast with Benn, a fight he swears will leave no doubt this time.

Why eubank yr thinks 2026 is his year

Talk to Sky SportsEubank did not cut words.

“It’s a big fight and it’s a fight that I look closely at, because after I sent Conor Benn for the second time, one of the two men, Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford, would like to share the ring in 2026. I’m here to fight the big names. ‘

He sees Canelo as the biggest name of the sport. But if Crawford pulls out the dismay, Eubank says that the Nebraska man immediately becomes the one beating. Either way, He promises to look for front.

New tricks for Conor Benn

However, eubank does not look past Benn. He admits that the rivalry is personal and insists that he has “some tricks in my sleeve this time.

“We have a new game plan, we have a new set of skills we are going to employ,” he said. “The first fight met the expectations, now we have to go there and do it again.”

He won their battle in a unanimous decision in April, but claimed that this return collision would be the right exclamation mark. He does not see a trilogy.

‘Any kind of important victory and I don’t see a third battle. But who knows? It could be another battle of this year’s contender. ‘

Take me: Eubank talks like a man with a clear plan. Beating again is the minimum minimum. If he goes by or looks messy, no one throws him in with Canelo or Crawford. These two work on another stratosphere.

That said, Eubank does have a skill to keep his name in the mix. He is hard, he is marketable, and he can fight – in his day. The problem? His days were contradictory. If he really wants a shot at Canelo or Crawford, he should not only beat Benn, but make it look ugly to Benn. Otherwise, all these talks of ‘biggest names’ are just noise.

And honestly, Canelo in 2026? This is a dangerous fantasy. But Eubank has always lived from the idea that he is a fight away from glory. Maybe he is. Maybe he’s not.
