Derek Chisora today posted WBA, WBC, and WBO Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Ulsyk on social media, pointing out that he wants to fight next in “London, United Kingdom.”
Chisora (36-13, 23 costs) wants a re-broadcast with USYK (23-0, 14 COs) because he says he felt he felt their fight four years ago on October 31, 2020 in Wembley Arena in London had to win. USYK won that battle with a close unanimous decision of 12 round with scores of 115-113, 115-113 and 117-112.
Another payday for Chisora?
Chisora mentioned USyk with Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois, as the three fighters he was interested in fighting. He says he is not interested in fighting Martin Bakole when he was named an option. Chisora just wants the big fights, which have very little chance to get.
Derek is already quite rich, with an estimated $ 15 million fortune. It’s not as if he needs money, but he wants that fight. Even if usyk or Joshua Chisora gave the payday fight he longed for, it probably wouldn’t be the end. He is likely to continue to try other fighters far above his talent level to fight against him.
It is deserted as Chisora Ulsyk pressure on a fight because it won’t happen. There is no interest from fans to pay to see usyk that old British travel man Chisora with his 13 defeats and no significant victory was ever in his career.
Chisora took a lot of punishment on his 12-round victory over Otto Wallin last Saturday night. His face was very swollen. Although the facial damage was blamed on a clash of heads, it was a lot of pork wax.
Wallin’s push did it to Chisora. The 41-year-old Chisora was a walking suitcase and eats head shots as they were candy. It was the perfectly selected opponent for Derek to beat, because Wallin is not a big puncher and is not one of the top-level heavyweights in the division. Interestingly, the British media made a big deal on Chisora’s victory and considered it heroic rather than a classic example of careful matchmaking.
