Ex -Chelsea Director Roberto di Matteo has suggested that the Blues could do with the signing of a new striker this summer.
Although Di Matteo, who won the Champions with Chelsea in 2012, was full of praise for Nicolas Jackson, he also made it clear that his old club could do more in this area of the pitch.
Jackson has not been completely convincing during his time on Stamford Bridge Until now, even if you have been shown signs that you could become a first -class player with a little more experience under the belt.
Di Matteo, ideally, would like Chelsea to have someone with this kind of experience and a proven record now, and possibly interpret that new striker with Jackson.
This would change the training for the manager of CFC Enzo Maresca, who has only played with one so far this season.

Roberto di Matteo’s transfer tips in Chelsea before summer
Speaking exclusively at Ladbrokes, Di Matteo made it clear that the first position he would look at this summer would be in front.
“When it comes to strengthening the team in the summer, I would probably be looking in the middle, first. It is a very talented team, but they probably lack some experience, perhaps, in terms of players who have been very successful, playing for many years in the Premier League, knowing certain ways of winning games,” said Di Matteo.
“You can only get this experience with time and minutes in the league. I really like Nicolas Jackson, and it’s someone who can only improve. I still think, however, Chelsea needs a striker who will score 25 goals per season, if you want to win the league or challenge, this is what you need.
“However, it is not a critique of Jackson; I also think that another striker would allow you to play sometimes with two in front.”
