Chelsea have reportedly been offered the chance to re-sign centre-back Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan.
Tomori came through the Blues’ academy but was shipped out in January 2021 after falling out of favor under Frank Lampard, and played an integral role in Milan’s Serie A triumph the following season.
This year, however, Tomori has lost his place in the starting lineup. Former manager Paulo Fonseca handed him just 13 minutes of action in his last ten Serie A games in charge and it remains to be seen whether newly signed Sergio Conceicao will restore the Englishman to his starting line-up.
With questions over his future, Juventus have been heavily linked with a to move for Tomori, though Sky Sports Switzerland A shock return to Chelsea has also been proposed.
Chelsea have been tipped to strengthen the defense this month and have been offered the chance to re-sign Tomori, who made 27 appearances during his short first-team spell at Stamford Bridge.
As it stands, however, Chelsea are not believed to be interested and would only look to make a move for Tomori if Axel Disasi leaves the club.
Disasi is under immense pressure after a string of underwhelming performances and has been recently linked with Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusenwhile Juventus have also been named as potential suitors for the Frenchman.
