Championship Tournament 2024 Match Times Saturday: 3rd Round Pairings

Separate training time for the 3rd round

When Scottie Scheffler took a seven-shot lead with an opening round of 65 Thursday, it was tempting to think he already had the tournament — and the FedEx Cup title — all sewn up.

But at the halfway mark of the Tour Championship, hot rounds from Xander Schauffele, who shot a 64 to move to 16 under overall, and Collin Morikawa, who shot a 63 to move to 17 under, have made things a little more interesting on the weekend. While Scheffler’s round of 66 on Friday still has him holding a comfortable four-shot lead at 21 under, a lot can happen over 36 holes.

Players certainly won’t need a reminder of what’s at stake: A record $25 million – an award that even Scheffler, Morikawa and Schauffele have never won.

Scheffler heads to Saturday’s third round at 2:00 PM ET alongside Morikawa, while Schauffele will play the penultimate pairing at 1:49 ET with Adam Scott.
