Champions Battocleti and Quizera at Alcobendas
ALCOBENDAS (ESP). Defending champions and overall winners of the 2025 World Tour of Athletics, Nadia Battocletti and Rodrigue Quizera, headline the entry lists for Sunday’s Cross Internacional de la Constitución (WA XC Tour Gold). Fresh Atapuerca Cross winner Batokleti faces quality opposition from Kenya’s Sheila Jebet, runner-up at Atapuerca, Great Britain’s Megan Keith, Ethiopia’s under-20 Cinque Mulini winner Yenenesh Shimket and local challenger Laura Luengo. Spain-based Burundian Kwizera has topped Alcobendas for four consecutive years and will face Eritrea’s Cinque Mulini champion Simon Emmanuel, Italy’s Johannes Chiappinelli and Thierry Ndikumwenayo.
