Monday at The empty quilMother Nature helped us determine who truly wants to win this 2025 PGA Championship. His name is Hideki Matsuyama, and he would not allow the heavy rain to affect his great preparation.
Severe storms hit the PGA Championship Courses
The first day of the PGA Championship Week did not go as planned. Instead of having the whole field of golf stars Play practical rounds and preparation all day, Major Downpours murmur course, forcing most fans and players to pack and leave.

Umbrella was probably unnecessary, as the rain was so heavy that the three men were plunging. But Matsuyama continued to roll the rock.
Matsuyama is playing well so far this season. it Won the Sentry-Opening Sentry event In Hawaii. He also collected seven Top-25 ends and only two cuts lost in 11 Starters in 2025. In last month’s masters, Matsuyama completed T21 after enjoying Ribeye in Scottie Scheffler’s Masters Champions Dinner.
Now Matsuyama will try to capture the second big title of his career in Rainy Quail Hollow. And we know that he will be at least as prepared as anyone else in the field.
