One World Series will begin on Friday between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees.

Both teams had several days off to prepare for the biggest series of the year.

The Yankees are looking for their first World Series title since 2009, while the Dodgers are looking for their first title since 2020.

Baseball fans around the world are probably excited for the World Series to begin, and even Yankees Legend CC Sabathia had something to say about it.

“It feels like Christmas morning,” Sabathia said.

Sabathia played 19 seasons in the MLB, 11 of which were for the Yankees.

He joined the Yankees in 2009 and won a championship in his first season with the team, going 19-8 in the regular season.

Sabathia was the American League MVP in 2009 against the Los Angeles Angels.

In the 2009 ALCS, he had two wins and a zero loss while throwing 16 innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out 12.

Many baseball fans probably feel the same way about Sabathia’s announcement about the start of the World Series.

The Yankees will start their ace Gerrit Cole in the first game, and he will go up against the Dodgers’ Jack Flaherty.

While Flaherty appears to be the Dodgers’ ace, the New York Mets roughed him up in his last outing, where he allowed eight earned runs in three innings.

It will be interesting to see if the offense or the pitchers shine in the first game.
