Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees has been getting so ripped these days that it’s hard to imagine any pitcher having the recipe to get him out consistently.
It’s to the point where legends are being asked for advice, as a reporter recently asked former Yankees ace AC Sabathia how he would play Judge.
CC was at Friday’s 3-0 win over the Colorado Rockies as the Yankees honored the 2009 World Series team, and when asked by YES Network’s Meredith Marakovitz how he would play Judge, he said: you have to walk him.”

That’s the right answer considering how rotten the bats were behind him for most of the season, especially before Giancarlo Stanton returned from injury.
With Judge on pace to challenge his own American League record of 62 home runs in a season, it’s puzzling how he has only been intentionally walked 16 times this season, only slightly more than Jordan Alvarez and Rafael Devers, who are the second. in the championship with 13 intentional passes each.
Judge is shaping up to win the Triple Crown and has the home runs and RBI leads mostly wrapped up, but if pitchers start taking Sabathia’s advice and treating Judge Barry Bonds more often, it could hurt his title chances. or breaking his record of 62 homers.
Sabathia and Judge would be a fun matchup as Prime CC would certainly challenge him.
