Ruben Amorim is on the verge of allowing Casemiro to leave Man United in this window, with the Brazilian attracting strong interest from the Saudi Pro League.
As Man United’s top earner, Casemiro is paid £350,000 per week (capology) – it’s a plus for the club that the 32-year-old is finally on the move in the January transfer window.
He has had limited minutes under Ruben Amorim since the Portuguese took over from Erik ten Hag, and sources have indicated a transfer could be closer than ever.
Casemiro near Al Nassr
Amorim favors Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo as defensive midfielders, leaving no room for Casemiro in their plans.
The Brazilian has already attracted interest from Saudi clubs such as Al-Nassr, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s side are believed to be pushing for a deal this winter.
Marcus Rashford also looks close to leaving Man Unitedwhile Amorim begins to reshape his squad and starting eleven to something more in tune with his way of working.
Alejandro Garnacho is unhappy with his luck too, meaning the club could be without two of their wide men come February.

Sources have told CaughtOffside that Casemiro is willing to seriously consider a bid to reunite with his former Real Madrid team-mate Ronaldo.
With Seko Fofana heading to Rennes and Anderson Talisca possibly to Fenerbahce, Al-Nassr is believed to be prioritizing the transfer of Casemiro.
Casemiro is asking for a long-term deal and a decent salary
The only possible threat to a successful transfer is the demands of the Brazilian player and United themselves.
Casemiro is understood to still want a decent salary and a long-term contract despite his age, while the Red Devils want more than £15m to consider finally allowing the out-of-favour 32-year-old to move on.
Although they are currently outsiders in the race, Turkish Al-Shabab coach Fatih Terim is an admirer of Casemiro, and this could also be an option for him.
