The Minnesota Twins were just one of two teams in the American League Central not to make the 2024 postseason.
After a disappointing season, a longtime Major League Baseball veteran for the Twins earned his first Gold Glove.
Carlos Santana of the Twins has been in the league since 2010 and has played for seven different organizations.
Santana is 38 years old, and his agent Ulises Cabrera said how many more seasons Santana plans to play.
According to MLB Network’s John Morosi, Cabrera said Santana wants to play three or four more seasons.
Free agent Carlos Santana, 38, wants to play three or four more @MLB: of the seasons, his agent Ulises Cabrera told me today.

With Santana winning his first career Gold Glove at first base and posting his highest on-plus slugging percentage since 2019, it seems to suggest he still has some gas left in the tank.
With the Twins in 2024, Santana played 150 games and hit .238 with 23 home runs, 71 runs scored and a .749 on-base plus slugging percentage.
Santana will now hit the free agent market this offseason, and after revealing that he intends to play a few more years, some teams may have interest.
The Cleveland Guardians were the first team Santana played for, and he played with the team for 10 seasons, including his only All-Star selection in 2019.
Santana isn’t one of the biggest names hitting free agency this offseason, but he appears to be a player who could still make a difference for a team in need of a first baseman.
It will be interesting to see what kind of contract Santana can sign, saying he wants to play three or four more seasons.
