Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has lifted the lid because Jesus Vallejo of the experienced center has barely had a play time this season.
Madrid continues to face a crisis of almighty injuries in the center of defense, with Eder militated with a second ACL injury to the two seasons space, David Alaba suffered a new setback after his own ACL recovery, and even Antonio Rudiger now joins the list of victims.
Prior to this season, European champions saw the highest goal of Leny Yoro join Manchester United, while Nacho Fernandez headed for Saudi Arabia in a golden sunset in his career.
Central midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has often been filled at the rear as an emergency stand-in, while Raul Asencio and Jacobo Ramon have been rapidly affiliated with the workforce.
Despite this disorder, Vallejo had no look. The 28 -year -old, who originally joined Madrid in 2015, could have expected a prolonged opportunity in the midst of the various absences. But apart from the ten minutes against Alaves in September, the Center-Back has been an unused replacement throughout the season.
With Madrid about to face Manchester City without a first -team center and Vallejo stayed on the bench, Ancelotti has denied that there was a problem.
“Absolutely nothing happens with Vallejo, the problem is that his contract is over and we prefer to give young players minutes,” explained the Italian coach.
But even as a specialized center, there is little in the history of Vallejo’s career that suggests that he would be willing to start with Madrid. The 28 -year -old struggled to command a place in Wolverhampton Wanderers during a loan in 2019/20 and has spent two and a half years of the last five in Granada.
