Hamzah Sheeraz believes that the weight cord with two divisions will be too much for Terence Crawford to win against the undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez on September 13. Sheeraz predicts Canelo (63-2-2, 39 COs) will achieve a “late downtime” from Crawford (41-0, 31 food).
Crawford’s inactivity over the past five years will affect his actions, Sheeraz says. A fighter cannot be as inactive as he was and opposed a fighter at elite level like Canelo.
Hamzah believes that Canelo has seen many different styles during his long career, and he will not be bothered by Crawford’s skill set. This is one he has seen before by other fighters, some of them bigger, stronger and much younger than the 38-year-old.
