Turki Alalshikh mentioned that he hoped to renew his contract with Canelo Alvarez to start matching him with some top fighters he was watching. He has a Gauntlet planned for Canelo to run.
Three of the four fighters called Turki wanted to match Canelo (63-2-2, 39 COs), would probably beat him. It does not count his collision on September 13 against Terence Crawford, which is 50-50.

Turki says he wants to keep Canelo with him for the rest of his career. However, it may not be too longer if he is fighting against the guys he wants. Alvarez may not be worth keeping more than two fights on board if Turki matches him against the fighters on his list.
It would be safer for Turki to do just a fight against Canelo. He is not good enough to beat some of the contenders at 168 that he avoided like the pest. Mbilli would expose Canelo, just like Osley Iglesias.
Sheeraz: Canelo’s easiest battle?
The only one who would probably beat Canelo is Hamzah Sheeraz, and that’s because he has no right experience. You cannot consider the Hype work Edgar Berlanga as real experience at 168.

Crawford threatens Turki’s plans
Canelo losing against Crawford will destroy Turki’s big plans for him to progress to other guys on his list. Alvarez will have to avenge his loss, and who knows if he can? If he was once beaten by Crawford, he would be beaten again.
