Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford today weighed 167.5 pounds in their weighing in for what Turki Alalshikh ‘Fight of the Century’ calls, this Saturday night at the Allegiant Stage in Las Vegas. They both looked slim, but Crawford looked the thinner of the two, almost like his days as a welterweight.

Except for Diehard Crawford fans, the consensus among fans with no dog in this hunt is that the mix of Bud’s advanced age (38 on September 28), which jumped three weight classes, and a long discharge of one plus will take a toll on him and prevent him from overcoming the size and power benefits of Canelo.
