Golf devices, my friends, are not a lot of zero game.

When you hold in your hands the MacGregor Tourney Max, it does not feel “free”, but not even a $ 600 driver. Cost sacrifices were made on items such as Vidhos Hex. Pretty doggone near, I would say. While the totals are unofficial (given the relative accuracy of the MEVO), the comparison is interesting. What tells me is that for $ 249.99, you can get a driver with whom you can play a good golf, whether it’s three -year -old Tayormade or new MacGregor. In addition, at my age, if you would tell me in the first thesis, I would get 241 yard for car, I would be loved as Wilson Pickett on “Land of 1000 Dances”.

A question of value
The above data are not “official” or the last word at all, but they tell us some things. Maybe the first thing that tells us is that MacGregor is not a toy or a piece of junk. It is a serious golf club with which you can play serious golf. With $ 249, it will not disrupt the bank, nor.
Of course, if you want to be cynical, you can say that it is no better than three -year -old Taylormade technology, and that you can get that taylormade technology for the same price. Then what, then, is the value of a new MacGregor $ 249 driver? Is a fair question with a simple answer. There will always be a segment of the golf population that loves affordable hunting. They find joy in finding solutions used at great prices. However, there is another segment that only wants to find a good driver without a ton of effort. It may not be the perfect driver, but it will be a driver with whom you can play good golf. This is the segment that Costco entered with his signature driver at Kirkland, and is a segment that is slightly larger than you might think.
Final thoughts on new driver MacGregor Tourney Max
May or can say nothing to you, but it’s fun (in a retro-nostalgic way) to hit a MacGregor tour driver again. I gameed a wonderful tour of the tournament in Persimmon, matching 3- and 5-druit, from 1985 to 1997, when I bowed and bought a King King Metal Driver.
I know, nostalgia doesn’t get the ball into the hole, but makes the trip from Tee to Green a little more fun.
