Tyson Fury still looks heavy in the middle section a month before his rematch with unified three-half heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk on December 21 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury’s condition is worrying for an athlete going into one of the most important fights of his professional career, but the ambition may no longer exist with the former WBC champion.
Fans on social media are questioning how serious the 36-year-old Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) is for this fight that he is 30 days before his crucial rematch with Usyk (22-0, still belly fat). 14 KOs), who last beat Gypsy King when they fought on May 18.
A $100 Million Payday: Fury’s Minished Drive
Fury’s net worth is estimated at $140 millionand he reportedly earned $200 million during his 16-year career. The money Fury has and a massive purse for the rematch with Usyk on December 21st is said to be over $100+M.
With all that dough Fury has made, the initiative to work has evaporated, resulting in him still having a big belly with a month to go of his second fight with 2012 Olympic gold medalist Usyk.
Fury Blames The Judges For His Failures
“There’s no secret that I’m going in there to knock you out because I don’t think I’m going to get a decision no matter what I do,” Tyson Fury said. James Beckersounds jaded, disillusioned with a defeated mindset heading into his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk a month from now on December 21st.
“I don’t think I’m going to get a boxing decision. So, I’ll have to take it out of the judges’ decision like I did at that time in America (Deontay Wilder rematch in February 2020), and I’ve got to get him out of there.”
As you can see, Fury has a victim mentality going into his rematch with Usyk, believing he was wronged in his previous loss to him on May 18th. Instead of looking at his performance and admitting to himself that he fought poorly, he blames the judges.
Fury’s attitude is the worst a person can have. He does not have the self-esteem to admit that he has made mistakes. So, instead, Fury deflects blame.
Revenge on the mind…
