Ottawa (25-May) – After a few days of rainy and imperceptible cold weather, the sun finally went out to the Capital of Canada, and it was the most damaged Albert Case and Mercy. Two Kenies won the 51st edition of Tartan Ottawa International marathon with comfortable margins. For the cursed, who takes a watch 2:08:22, this was his second victory here (he also won in 2019). For Chelangath, who once came 2:23:33, today’s race was his first marathon. Both winners earned CAD 20,000 prizes (= $ 14,560).
Korire goes alone
The men’s race started with a closely posted package, following two players, 5-K at 15:06 and 10-K, 30. 08 in the PACE, 2. In the 06s. The core was right in front of the box, along with Canadian Rory Linkletter, American CJ Albertson and Ethiopians Demake Tessafaye and Belai Tilahun. Everyone looked comfortable.
But I was originally planned to run the Boston Marathon last month, but had to take back due to the injury of the ankle.
“I felt good, so I saw the Pacer as slowly,” said the lost week. “I had to push, and I had it in my mind that I had to win this one.”
The package was kept together when the runners moved from Ontario to Quebec, but Corire decided to take her step. He ran 2:56 in the 20th kilometer, threw his pan and opened the gap in the rest of the field. He once arrived in the middle (1:03:12) he had the 18-second lead on Liveletter and Albertson. The two Ethiopians have even fallen back.

The curve ran alone. Red red adidas gear wearing, he clicked on the kilometers and looked through his watch and stared at the shots to see if anyone catches.
“I was trying to keep the distance, and I tried to follow them that they did not close the gap,” the lost.
Puts a curve lead up to 22 seconds 30-K and 28 seconds with 35-K. He seemed to have a victory in his pocket, but the ring felt that he had enough energy to try to close the gap. The Canadian Olympia took his pace.
“Frankly, I didn’t feel that the good thing is the first 30,” said the eafatter. “Liking was good, but I was not fully full of going to do the distance.” He continued. “At some point, I need to see if I can close this gap a little.

The Liffletter’s move brought him to the nine seconds of the curve, and his time is 2: 08: 31 the fastest ever recorded on Canadian land ever. It also allocates 24 seconds from Albertson, who received a watch 2:08:55, his second fastest career time. The American surprised that the first half survived in the first half. Both the Boston Marathon launched both the whole and filler.
“I ran pretty quickly,” Albertson said to the results of the weekly race. “I think Brooks makes good shoes because I don’t know how I quickly run with my training, but it was nice.”
Chelangat runs his own race
Chelangat and his Hoka Northern Arizona Elite Cok Jack Mullane had a plan for today’s race. He needs to follow men’s freedoms in the first half and not think about many. But that plan was divided when the fries moved very fast, about 10 seconds for a very mile very quickly, and he decided to fall back. It was easy to think that he was dropped, but he made a decision.
“I was like, I’m going to run my own race,” Chelangat said in the weekly. “We were originally like going so fast as (planned) pace than (planned) pace. It was like 5. In the 20s, low as every time I was sure I want to feel your first marathon.

Chelangat Ran 1:10:59 For his first half and divide it in 30 or 30. It put her 14 seconds with Ethovologist Messer Gebrer and Fantu Shogi. Chelangat felt good, but he had another challenge. He found it difficult to open his bottle drinking tips. He finished the tops, instead of drinking from a wide range.
“I had to open the water of the water and like it,” he said, pointing to the dried glow of energy drinks, which had fallen on their feet.
He caught Geybre in the 34th kilometer, which had previously dropped to Shugi (will later collapsed). The couple briefly ran briefly before Chelangata began to leave, accompanied by men Andrew Alexander and Sammy Kirongo. From there he expanded his leader in every kilometer, finally ending almost five minutes before his closest opponent, Kenya Vishili Jephkesho, who ran 2:28:09. GeBren had a very tough second half and ended in the third place2. 30. In 46 (he ran half 1:10:57 and 1:19:49).
After hug his star athlete, coach Mullean spoke about the results of the race weekly. “I don’t know whether I have the words now,” Mullenus said, obviously emotional. “I’m just very happy for him, because he made a conscious decision two months ago when he was going to hug everything that it meant to be a marathon, and just belongs to the 24/7 process.” He added:
Chelangath’s time was the fastest by the northern Arizona woman in Hokk, Darkness 2:24:28 Kellin Taylor ran in 2018 at Grandma’s Marathon.

The teammate of Chelangat, the chelangath team, also fell into frosts as frostbite. He ran with the leading group about 26 km away. In June, he plans to drive the grandmother’s marathon in Dulut.
