Chordale Booker looked uncomfortable during yesterday’s face for his fight against WBC and WBO 154-Pond Champion Sebastian Fundora on Saturday, March 22, for their 20:00 ET / 17:00 PT event, directly on PBC Prime video. The Ringwalks for Fundora against Booker is about 22:30 ET / 19:40 pt.
Chordale (23-1, 11 COs) kept smiling every time he was asked to stand, and Fundora (21-1, 13 CO’s) had to encourage him to get character for this. You can see that Chordale sees these things for what it is. This is publicity. He is not the type of trying to pull out his opponents Average-moking They like many fighters tend to do. That stuff doesn’t work, but uncertain boxers often use it.
Much of the brilliance of Fundora’s troubled victory over WBO junior middleweight champion Tim Tszyu in March disappeared after the Aussie was wiped out in three brutal rounds by the IBF 154-Pond Champion Bakhram Murtazaliev Last October.
In contrast, Fundora took 12 grueling rounds to defeat Tszyu by a split decision in a massacre. The victory of Sebastian was helped by a deep scalp that Tim sustained in round two after a casual elbow hit him.
Boxing fans do not know how well Fundora is, because Tszyu and Erickson Lubin are his only striking victories during his nine-year professional career. Prior to the troubled victory of Fundora over Tszyu, he was knocked out by Brian Mendoza on April 8, 2023 in the seventh round.
“Rocky style”
“I think it was a good fight for what it was. I think Tim Tszyu’s thoughts weren’t there, ‘Sebastian Fundora said during yesterday’s Media -CourseWith his last opponent, Tszyu’s recent loss of IBF junior middleweight champion Bakhram Murtazaliev.
“We look a lot of boxing,” Fundora said when asked if he studied a lot of band on Chordale Booker’s previous fights. “We know what works and don’t work. We are a day after that or a few hours after watching the fights.
“We see what works and what doesn’t work for us. We see what’s really in the sport. It’s hard. It’s not for the faint of heart. It’s definitely a rocky training camp,” Fundora said of the hard work he suggested to prepare for his title defense against Booker.
