There are just two events left in the fall FedEx Cup, and while this week’s tournament lacks a bit of star power, there’s still plenty on the line for the pros who make it to Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda.
After this week’s Bermuda Championship and next week’s RSM Classic, the top 100 in the FedEx Cup will be finalized for next year, with that group earning exemption status in the full-field event for 2026 and a spot in the Players Championship. No. 101-125 will have conditional status for the 2026 PGA Tour season.
That means, for many players, it’s time to make a move.

Richard Hoey is the betting favorite this week at +2000, with Nico Echavarria (+2200) and Thorbjorn Olesen (+2200) coming in with the best odds to win.
Echavarria was also named one of GOLF’s Subpar Doubles The Fanatic’s Sports Book bets of the week.
“This guy just three-parred his last round down in Cabo (Sunday) and shot 63,” Colt Knost said. “The guy has just turned into a hell of a player. You can get him in the top 10 at (+280).
“A lot of grit,” Drew Stoltz added, “and when he gets going, he really gets going.”
For his bet, Stoltz picked Pierceson Coody in the top 10 (+300).
“I’m going with a guy that everyone is so high on,” he said. “He’s probably one of the greatest drivers of the golf ball in the world; we haven’t seen a ton of him yet. He’s still a young kid. But Pierceson Coody has gotten a lot of buzz and a lot of hype from the guys who are watching him week in and week out. I don’t know if he’s ready to win the world yet, but not stronger.”
Knost added that Coody is also in a low-pressure spot right now.
“Basically, all he’s playing for is whether he gets into the top 100, whether he gets into the Players Championship,” he said. “He’s already locked up his Korn Ferry Tour card to get on the PGA Tour, now obviously his seed number would be a lot better if he got into that top 100, but he can do it somehow. He knows no matter what he’s going to be back on the PGA Tour in 2026.
