Separate training time for round 1
Sahith Theegala hopes a big week in Bermuda can revive his youngsters PGA Tour career.
Theegala, who captured his first Tour victory in 2023seemed to have one of the brightest futures among golf’s rising stars. While he didn’t win again in 2024, he had two runner-up finishes and finished third in the FedEx Cup standings.
But the 2025 season saw Theegala struggle to perform on the courseresulting in a sharp drop in the FedEx rankings and the Official World Golf Rankings.
He is among many professionals in the Butterfield Bermuda Championship field fighting for their futures this week.
Theegala will advance to the first round on Thursday at 6:33 a.m. ET along with Michael Brennan and Rafael Campos.
