After a season that saw him reach great heights once again, Bryson DeChambeau does not rest in the off-season. Instead, he’s leaning heavily into his burgeoning social media career.
The two-time and defending US Open champion’s channels have been all over the country, most recently with his own hole-in-one over his home runwhich he posted on TikToK.
The main growth driver for his YouTube accountwhich as of this writing has reached 1.6 million subscribers, has been his Breaking 50 series, in which he attempts to break 50 from the front alongside a celebrity guest.
No video has surpassed the audience his Breaking 50 video with President-elect Donald Trumpwhich in the four months since its posting has amassed 13 million views.
But based on a new video clip making the rounds on social media, DeChambeau may have another member of the Trump family lined up for his social feeds: Trump’s niece, Kai Trump.
Kai is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., and is preparing for a golf career at the University of Miami.
The new clip shows Kai and Bryson attempting a trick shot together at a shooting range. The plan was for Kai to throw a ball to DeChambeau, who was standing a few feet in front of her, and then Bryson would hit the chipped ball out of the air with his driver.
At least that’s how it should have been. Instead, as DeChambeau swings at the ball, he appears to make first contact with the ground, and as he begins his follow through, the driver’s head goes sailing into the fairway.
Watch the clip below.
Kai has a large social media presence of her own. On Instagram, she has amassed 754,000 followers. Her YouTube page has 556,000 subscribers, with a recent video titled “Watching a SpaceX rocket launch with Elon Musk!” earning 6.2 million views.
