“Casemiro has more experience than me. I don’t need to tell him anything, he knows what football is about. He has played for the two best clubs in the world. Kobbie is an excellent kid. I want him to try harder and do that because it’s part of their game. They’re great players for us and will continue to be.
“We don’t have to look at the past. We just have to do it differently. We lost the game, congratulations to Liverpoolthey were more clinical. I don’t look at the stats, but the game was tight.”
Manager Erik ten Hag explained his decision to replace Casemiro after the game, insisting that he had to take more risks in order to get United back into the game.
