Episode #5:

Anna Gibson just won the bronze medal Ascent-6k 2025 World Mountain and Trail Running Championships. Anna Gibson then came back and helped Team USA win the silver medal Classic 14k Race

Anna ran Ascent 6kwhich was god-awful, please read the story at the link. The run racked up 3,000 vertical feet in 4 miles, which Anna covered in 46 minutes and 7 seconds.

Then he ran Classic 14kwhich could not and should not be described as a cake walk. Anna Gibson loves hills. After my conversation with this gifted runner, I think he was relieved to see a huge hill in front of him.

Anna Gibson loves hills. Anna grew up with the Grand Tetons in her backyard. She grew up in Wyoming running cross country and track as well as skiing.

Anna Gibson has a history in track and field. He was nominated for the Powells at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. While there, Anna anchored her DMR in the NCAA record.

signed by Brooks Beasts where he ran the 1500 meters and 5000 meters.

Anna has PBs of 4:08 for the 1500m and 4:33 for the mile. Anna Gibson also ran 9:08 for 3000 meters in 2022.

Anna Gibson uses track speed and speed to develop her ability to race well on trails. This interview is fascinating not only because of Anna’s training methods and her attitude towards trail racing.

Special thanks to Brooks Sports Marketing for their support and to Anna Gibson for her excellent interview.
