The national management body has “B” standards for each event specified in previous years
The British Athletics has published its choice for the 2025 World Cup in Tokyo with “B” (UKA) standards listed for each event.
In previous years, the athletes could only be qualified for global big championships if they reached the world’s Athletics standards in certain subjects.
Before most events, many athletes had to nail the signs set by the global management body.
The British Choice of British Athletics in the Paris Olympics has seen six male and seven women without the “B” standard.
The events on the men were 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1,400 m, and 5,000 m and 400 m.
Women’s subjects are 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 5000 m, 3000 m steeplechase and 400 m.
