On Saturday evening, September 13, a mega battle will take place if the two-time unexpected super-middleweight world champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 COs) will defend his crown against former two divisions, Terence “Bud” Crawford (41-0, 31).
This extraordinary world title will take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it will contain two boxers, both of which have been at the top of Boxing’s pound for pounds.
Canelo Alvarez has an admirable resume, and on September 13 he plans to add the clear performance of an injury to Crawford’s perfect record. Canelo is a wonderful boxer, but he does not have an incessant record, which means there is a blueprint that Crawford can follow.
Can Crawford follow the blueprint beating?
In September 2013, the United Super-Welterweight World Champion Canelo Alvarez defended its titles against Floyd “Money” Mayweather. Accidental fans consider Mayweather as a runner -up, but in the opening round against Canelo, Mayweather was the aggressor.
Floyd Mayweather is constantly pushing forward and changes the levels with the stitch. Mayweather was so sharp that he made the first half of the fight look like a glorified sparring session.
In the second half of the game, Mayweather continued to overwhelm Alvarez with his movement, reflexes, the right hand, the left hook and precise counterparts. After the match, the scores would reveal that Canelo suffered his first career loss.
Nine years later, Canelo Alvarez moved up to 175 to challenge the WBA lightweight champion Dmitri Biblical. The defending world champion showed a tremendous amount of discipline when he held on to his game plan.
During the championship, Biblical movement, an active stitch, used, and he regularly threw bumps into clusters. After the 12-Round competition, Dmitri Bivol was declared the winner as unanimous decision.
Why Crawford’s skills give him the lead on September 13
Mayweather and Biblical have navigated a path to the victory against Canelo in their own unique ways. However, both men used some of the same instruments, such as definitely being responsible, using movement, using elite footwork, controlling the distance, having good timing and precise counterpons.
Terence Crawford is an elite boxer who can use the same tools that Mayweather and Biblical use against Alvarez. At Fight Night, Canelo will of course have the great advantage, but Crawford has multiple benefits.
The Mega match against Canelo is an attack that Crawford will win. Crawford is a switch that is faster and more athletic than Canelo. Crawford has a high ring, speed, good power and impeccable timing.
Crawford will smartly use his ring -general and skill to achieve the greatest victory of his career. During the first few rounds, Crawford likes to keep the data down and basically measures the scope and distance.
At this point of battle, Terence Crawford links between the Orthodox and Southpaw attitude. Once Crawford works everything out, he will commit to fighting from the Southpaw attitude.
Crawford will have an active lead, as he will investigate and use the sample. Crawford will dictate the pace of the fight with his footwork and movement.
Canelo likes to use the high guard when applying physical and mental pressure, but Crawford is aware of the tactics, and he will be prepared for it. Crawford will neutralize the guard of Canelo with Feints and shallow changes.
Bud Crawford will make things easy for himself by boxing from the outside. The short moments he is inside the bag, he will use footwork, good punning, exact timing, and he will definitely be responsible.
On the night of September 13, Terence “Bud” Crawford will perform his game plan by utilizing his skills, being smart and staying disciplined. Canelo has the great advantage, but skills pay the bills, and Crawford plans to pay in by winning and becoming an undisputed world champion of three divisions.
