Bryson Dechambeau goes to the bunker state at the 2025 Liv Golf Mexico City event.

In Liv Mexico City last week, Bryson Dechambeau gathered his best performance of the season, despite coughing in the lead. But if you see Bryson’s angry reaction to the bunkers in the host course before the tour began, you may be surprised how well he played. Now a video has come out of Dechambeau’s bunker, and TV analyst Brandel Chamblee is not happy about that.
Liv Mexico City of Dechambeau Swoon
During the first two rounds of Liv Mexico, Dechambeau fired from the gate with the 63-year-old rounds and five-nine years old to get a lead with a blow to Sunday’s last round.
‘Didn’t talk to me all day’: Rory mcilroy gave Bryson dechambeau silent treatment in masters
Bryson was fresh from a final disappointing round in the 2025 masters, where he held the lead in the 3rd 3 before fighting the rest of the road and Shots 75. Finally, his Dreamrra for a master’s victory faded while Rory Mcilroy took the crown.
Given that poor end, Dechambeau was likely to be intended to prove it was a barrier once. But in Mexico City, Bryson fought again in the last round with a victory in line. He made two bogeys and a double bogey to end up on the same day for the day. This threw it into a t2-finish and delivered the title to Joaquin Niemann.
The angry bunker of Bryson Rant
This brings us to the video making rounds in the Golf’s social media circles this week, separated by @perrisgolf on Instagram. Before the Liv Mexico City event began, Dechambeau played a round practice at the Club Course Club De Golf Chapultepec.
Among his practice, Bryson was filmed fighting to escape numerous bunkers in the course. The US Open double champion was clearly dissatisfied with the sand in the bunker, and he loudly announced his dissatisfaction with the camera.
“The worst bunkers f – ing on ever!” Dechambeau shouted from a bunker with wings raised in disgust, “The worst!”
When one observer asked him if the issues Bryson had because of the “wet sand”, Dechambeau shot that explanation quickly.
“No! No! Look, you have the rolling finger. “You can hurt someone’s hand. You can break one’s hand. You can’t even get it out.”

What a specific issue had Dechambeau with the bunker sand is not completely clear, but to support his words, the video shows that the Liv Pro Star fails to escape the bunkers in at least four cases.
The video is then shortened in Dechambeau to another bunker. After playing his purpose, which once again left the boundaries of the sand trap, Dechambeau reiterated his view.
“So bad. That’s better, but it’s so bad.”
Chamblee gets dechambeau on duty
Brandel Chambere TV Analyst is a Frequent Liv Golf. And Dechambeau is one of his favorite objectives.
So when Chamblee saw the video in question, he could not help but comment publicly.
In a post for X, Chamblee wrote that Dechambeau “registered for this” and claimed that Liv Golf does not appreciate the “best conditioned courses”, but rather those who will agree to expect Liv events.
He then addressed Bryson directly, saying, “You were signed for hundreds of millions, left complaining.”
A) He enrolled for this when he was signed to be a doll for a murderous dictator and play a tour that does not appreciate the best conditional courses, but those that will hold events for a murderous dictator.
B) This is what the rounds of practice are.
C) You registered for… https://t.co/iggbecotko

Chamblee is the latest Golf’s latest analyst to criticize Dechambeau publicly, but not the first.
The six-fold winner and former CBS leader Nick Faldo recently received heat for the criticism he made from Dechambeau while working for Sky Sports during the 2025 masters.
But when interviewing for the reaction, Faldo offered an unhappy protection of his criticism.
“This is Bulls – T,” Faldo told his critics Times. “I like the boy. I texmed it after he won the US Open. I don’t like the way he plays from time to time, which I am allowed to criticize.”
Golf fans will see Dechambeau on the biggest scene once every two weeks, when he tries to win his big third career title at the PGA 2025 championship.
