Jon Rahm played the last three holes of the PGA Championship in the five-day on the weekend, while Bryson Dechambeau played them in four-and Brandel Chamblee says he knows the reason.

Golf’s tall analyst said it is because of where Rahm AND My Guiea Play other weeks: Liv Golf.

“Matters is important as to where you are playing sharp, be to your maximum, try yourself against the best, which are not playing against the best week inside and the week outside,” Chamblee said.

Chamblee’s comments, the latest in a series of shots in the liv, said during the show “Live From Championship” by Golf Channel, and they came after Scottie Scheffler won The second main of the year from five strokes, while Dechambeau ended in a three -way tie for the second, and Rahm ended up in a nine -direction tie for the eight. Scheffler, who played the last three holes over the weekend on a principle, plays his Golf in PGA Tour, and Chamblee said he is at the “highest level”.

Both Dechambeau and Rahm had held at least one part of the lead at a point on the weekend – but the last three holes in Hollow Quail ClubCalled “The Green Mile”, they were problematic for the main winners twice. During the third round of Saturday, Dechambeau Bogey 16 and double the 17th, and he threw the 18th on Sunday.

Rahm, meanwhile, gathered to tie Scheffler early to nine back on Sunday, but Rahm Bogey 16 and double double 17 and 18 to fall out of the quarrel. Playing two groups behind him, Scheffler Parered 16 and 17 and Bogeyed 18, though he had grown with six shots at that point.

“When it was more important,” Chamblee told Golf Channel, “16, 17 and 18, when you had to hit shots when you had to check the nerves, when you had to check the rhythm of your golf swing, Scottie had it, Bryson did not, Rahm didn’t.”

In viewing the leading charts of leaders over the past year for the three players, the end of the Dechambeau’s competition was his second consecutive in a row in the PGA Championship, and he also won last year’s US Open, lost in the open championship last year and ended fifth in this year’s Masters. As for Rahm and Scheffler, Rahm lost cutting in last year’s PGA, withdrew from last year’s US Open due to damage, linked to the seventh in the open championship last year and was linked for 14th to this year’s masters, and Scheffler was connected for eight (2024 PGA), connected for 41 (2024 US) (2024) (2024). (2024 Open Championship) and finished in fourth place (this year), bound for 41. Masters).

At the show, the host Rich Lerner then asked Paul McGinley, another analyst, if he agreed with Chamblee – and he said he did, citing Livi’s format, places and schedules.

“I think it’s hard to make an argument that Liv prepares you to win big championships,” McGinley said, “because they are playing events in the team, they are not playing in the most difficult golf courses, and they are traveling around the world and then have to return to America to play three to four degrees.

“There is a great quotation from a navy stamp widely used in leadership. What do you pressure? And he says, I am plunged into my training level. And the training boys get in Liv, the way they play in Liv, is not the same intensity as PGA Tour.”

McGinley also opposed the argument saying that both dechambeau and Brooks koepkaAnother Liv Golf Pro, have won diplomas, and that the prejudice of the review makes it easy to say that they cannot win the biggest golf event. But he finished his point in this way:

“Hard hard to make an argument going to Liv will give you a better chance to win a major,” he said.

“I don’t care. You can argue that throughout the day. There is no way to see that this is a better and more productive way to prepare to win degrees.”
