KTM Satellite Tech3 was in talks with Honda.But Guenther Steiner chose to renew the existing agreement instead. It is confirmed in Barcelona.

The Steiner team is the obvious choice for Binder after losing his factory spot, but his existing riders are likely to take priority.

KTM will want to keep Maverick Vinales in the fold despite his recent injury woes and Ene Bastianini is currently the second highest points-scoring rider behind Pedro Acosta.

However, after previous links with Gresini, it seems that he is now Bastianini plans to join the track house Next year. Justin Marks needs at least one rider after Ai Ogura lost to Yamaha.

Will Brad Binder be on the MotoGP grid in 2027?

KTM may try to stand in the way, but in the end, they’re likely to stick with a rider who seems to have stuck around for too long to move on.

New 2027 grid forecast from Sports Bastianini puts him in the American team next to Raul Fernandez and Binder in Tech3 with Vinales.

Luca Marini was an option for Tech3. While the Honda deal was on the table, he now relies on his half-brother Valentino Rossi to give him another chance at the VR46.

And being a Moto2 rider Daniel Holgado was also on Tech3’s shortlist.He chose Gresini instead.

In short, if the other candidates are not available, Binder will likely be relegated to the satellite team by default. It’s not the most desired result, but it puts it on the grid.

After a scoreless weekend at Le Mans, Binder matched his best result of the season with P7 at the Catalan GP. He feels that he has made a change in the setup of the bike.
