Brad Binder creates ‘critical issues’ KTM and puts MotoGP team in trouble.


KTM factory racers are facing a big fight for their future on the MotoGP grid given the brand’s financial woes, but Brad Binder can see more problems ahead.

Doubts persist over what presence. KTM Austria will have market autonomy in the world championship due to its entry. KTM currently plays a major role in the entire Grand Prix paddock MotoGPMoto2 and Moto3 categories.

Brad Binder creates ‘critical issues’ for KTM to improve their MotoGP bikes

Prior to his move to Pramac, problems had plagued the Austrian manufacturer throughout the 2024 MotoGP season, dropping to sixth place in the teams’ championship. Their total of 304 points marks KTM’s worst season since 2021.

Binder secured the KTM factory team’s sole campaign podium with P2 at the first round of the year at the Qatar Grand Prix. Acosta will reach the Grand Prix podium five times in his rookie season running the GASGAS colors with the Satellite Tech3 team.

So, if KTM is going to back down in 2025, Binder is desperate for the team to upgrade the RC16 bike. The factory team even left the team in 2024 as the search for upgrades came too late and adapting their package created more problems for the RC16.

“First we have to understand the bike and only then can we improve the areas we lack,” Binder said. GPON. “So it’s not necessarily a big step up, but it’s definitely a definite improvement in braking, cornering and handling. This is the only way we can make a difference.
