Brad Binder can’t get his head around something Pedro Acosta ‘somehow’ does on a KTM MotoGP bike

Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta will compete in one of the most exciting intra-team battles on the MotoGP grid this year. All eyes will be on Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia, but the match against Binder will test Acosta’s seemingly formidable potential.

Acosta In the year He competed for the first time in the premier class in 2024 KTM Satellite group Tech3. With the same RC16 bike, he finished just two points behind binding.

Binder’s teammate Jack Miller lost his seat when KTM introduced the impressive Acosta to the factory team. He is the second youngest rider in the field, after Gresini’s Fermin Aldeguerre (20 vs 19).

Acosta has had more crashes than any rider. last year. If he can cut out some of those mistakes — as one would expect in his second year — then Binder could struggle to protect him.

The South African will be over 100. MotoGP It starts this year and aims to increase its height of 11 platforms. KTM’s financial woes could hamper their progress at the season and prevent them from competing for victory.

In an interview with Crash.netBinder spoke eloquently of his new teammate. He may still be a teenager, but he’s already pushing those around him to improve.

Indeed, Binder Acosta was impressed with his precision on the brakes. It can stop at the ‘same point’ using the on-track references, maximizing the potential at corner entry.

He has complete command at the top end of the bike, completing a formidable package. Acosta won both the Moto3 and Moto2 championships earlier this decade, so perhaps his new rivals should have seen him coming.

“There are some things he does really well,” Binder said. “One in particular is braking. He never goes over the limit but always stops to the limit and somehow stops the bike at the same point!

“That’s one thing that’s amazing about his riding style. And the way he was able to turn the bike is also good.”

Ducati are starting to attack their beauty while watching Pedro Acosta’s MotoGP action.

Even before KTM’s financial situation deteriorated, Acosta was internationally coveted. But now their partner manufacturers realize the opportunity.

If they were to withdraw from MotoGP for 2025, Acosta will revolutionize the driver’s market. Even if they stay, more frustration may grow if funding is limited.

Ducati test rider Michele Piro invited Acosta to join him. And thanks even to ‘the world’ for delivering another ‘champion’. He may have to accept a satellite deal after the arrival of Marc Marquez alongside Francesco Bagnaia.

But Valentino Rossi is trying to lure Acosta into the VR46.. In a worrying development for KTM, they spoke at the Rossi 100km championship earlier this month.
