Turki Alalshikh says he wants to try to fight the Tyson Fury against Anthony Joshua in 2026. First, he wants both ‘tune-ups’ to have because they get off the defeats. This is a fight that is beyond the sale date, as both former champions have been downward for years.
Zombie Fights: Who cares?
British fans still want to see Fury (34-2-1, 24 COs) and Joshua (28-4, 25 food) fight, even if they are nowhere near the highest five-heavyweights at this stage of their careers.
Former two -time heavyweight champion Joshua, 35, was knocked out by Daniel Dubois last September. Fury, 36, lost two consecutively against Oleksandr Ulsyk and looked outside the shot. He looks ready for the glue factory.
“Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury next year. We try to do it and think about it,” Turki Alalshikh said Thaboxingvoice about his plans to wage the long -awaited battle between the two aging, beyond their most important British heavyweights.
Turki’s “tune-up” justification
“I have to have a tune-up for everyone first. Why? Because they both come to lose. This is to build it up,“Turki said about Fury and Joshua who need Tune-up to try to change the perception fans about it.
Tune-ups make little sense for one of the fighter. If low-level British domestic level heavyweights such as Derek Chisora And Dave Allen is eradicated and used as the opponents for Joshua and Fury, how can camouflage the perception fans have that both fighters be rinsed 100%?
As it is, Fury and Joshua Weak resumes Once you get past Oleksandr utility. The only two good fighters they fought with were 39-year-old Wladimir Klitschko and Utsyk. The rest of the names on their CVs are fighters at B level such as Dillian Whyte, Carlos Takam and Deontay Wilder.
Tune-ups only work if the opponent used for it is high degree, someone who has at least a chance to win. The use of a fighter who does not belong in the ring with Joshua and Fury will not do the trick to build it up in the ‘Battle of Britain’ collision.
If Turki insists on taking AJ and ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury, he should use these heavyweights for it:
Zhilei Zhang
Richard Torrez Jr.
Bakhodir Yalolov
Diminish but
No “factory specifications” for fighters
Turki should show Joshua and give a little difficult love by giving them no choice but to fight one of the above heavyweights for their ‘tune-ups’. The box public will not suddenly believe that the two aged, faded fighters were refurbished to the original factory specifications after beating off-and-out ham and eggers.
