Boxing results: Shields is expanding the government and Harrison claims eager victory


WBC, WBO, IBF, and WBF Heavyweight Champion Claressa ‘T-Rex’ Shields (17-0, 3 food) defeated IBF World Light Heavyweight Champion Lani Daniels (11-3-2, 1 CO) with a unanimous decision of 10 round Saturday night at the Little Caesarsar.

In the first four rounds, Shields chased Daniels and easily won all three rounds. In the fourth round, Shields ends it with a left hook.

In the fifth round, Daniels decided to stand from toes to toe with Shields, which exceeded her. In the sixth round, Shields continued to surpass Daniels. In the seventh round, Shields won again, but Daniels landed the last punch. In the final seconds of the eighth round, Daniels Shields stood in a corner and exchanged.

In the ninth round’s last minute, Daniels stands in front of Shields, who was in another peel against the ropes. In the tenth and last round, Daniels tone stood with her in a loss but game performance.

The scores were 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91. Juega Langros was the referee.

Lightweight Samantha Worthington (12-0, 7 cost) beat Victoire Pitterau (14-3, 2 food) with a unanimous 10 round decision.

In the first five rounds, Worthington had the lead. In the last five rounds, Piteau came back to fight it.

The scores were 99-91, 95-95 and 96-94.

Former WBC World Junior Middleweight Champion, Tony ‘Super Bad’ Harrison (30-4-1, 21 COs), defeated Edward Ulloa Diaz (15-7, 12 COs) with a unanimous 10 round decision, which came off in the ninth place.

In the first four rounds, Harrison had the lead. In the sixth round, Diaz landed an upper hand on Harrison’s chin. At the end of the seventh round, Diaz Harrison was able to lift into the air and get a warning from referee Ben Rodriguez.

In the ninth round’s final seconds, Diaz landed a right cross on the chin and dropped Harrison for an 8 score by referee Rodriguez. In the tenth and last round, it was a close one with Harrison who returned from the previous rounds of Knockdown to take this round with a thin margin.

The scores were 96-93, 98-91 and 97-92.

Heavyweight ‘The Price is Right’ Price Taylor (9-0, 6 COs) easily beat Robert Simms (12-5-1, 3 COs) through a unanimous eight round decision.

In the first four rounds, Taylor won all four rounds. In the fifth round, the many overweight Simms were hit by four rights at the end of the round.

In the sixth round, Taylor continued to hit Simms and win another round, ending with two left brackets at the chin. In the seventh round, Taylor came out South Poot and made no difference, as he won another round. In the eighth and last rounds, in the final seconds, Taylor landed a right side with Simms standing on the chin with a left.

The scores were 80-72, 80-72 and 80-72.
